About the reason why the LED Strips does not light up after installation

LED Strips does not light up after installation

The LED thread not turning on during installation is usually related to the following two reasons:

Electrical circuit status: Please check, is the circuit connected? Is there a problem with the connection and is it broken? Are the positive and negative poles of the thread connected in reverse?

Physical damage: The LED Strip light may have been damaged during the manufacturing process, transportation, or during storage.

Physical injuries usually occur for the following reasons:

  1. The protection of the flexible LED thread cover has not been done completely, which causes the LED beads to be damaged during transportation.
  2. The welding point of the flexible LED Strip light is not regular and the welding is not done carefully, due to the shocks during transportation, the welding point is lost and causes the loss of LED light .
  3. There is a problem with the soldering of the LED wire and the solders have fallen.
  4. The soldering quality of the LED Strip light is not good and it breaks and crumbles easily.
  5. The flexible LED Strip light has a large bending angle, so that the solder point is separated from the copper foil and causes the LED Strip light not to light up .
  6. Excessive extrusion during LED string connection will cause chip damage and failure at the solder point.
  7. The soldering layer of the LED string is very thick and the welding is not done uniformly.
  8. The LED Strip light must not be twisted during installation, because the solder point may be torn off and cause the LED Strip light to not light up. Read more at Articles page.
